Quantum B CEO Set to Attend UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase 2024
Dr. Mirek Sopek, CEO of Quantum B, will participate at the UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase 2024, scheduled from November 6th to 8th in London. This significant event, organized by Innovate UK, the EPSRC, and the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme (NQTP), brings together leading figures in quantum technology to discuss breakthroughs and future directions. Attendees will explore developments across quantum computing, sensing, communications, and more, with sessions led by renowned experts such as Professor Sir Peter Knight and Dr. Stella Peace.
The program which commences on November 6th will provide attendees with an opportunity to connect ahead of the main events. On November 7th, participants will visit the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington for presentations by leading figures such as Professor Sir Peter Knight, Chair of the National Quantum Technology Programmes Strategy Advisory Board, and Tim Prior, Quantum Programme Manager at NPL. The day includes insights from UK Quantum Hubs and thematic roundtables on standards, value chains, and technology transfer.
The showcase culminates on November 8th at the Business Design Centre in Islington with a packed agenda that includes presentations on the UK’s quantum technology strategy, recent achievements within the National Quantum Computing Centre, and specialized quantum applications in fields like healthcare, energy, and navigation. Attendees, will also have access to focused panel discussions on quantum investment opportunities and practical demonstrations from over 90 exhibitors, making it an ideal networking platform for innovative start-ups such as Quantum B.
