Quantum B Launches pQKD Solution on AWS Marketplace

We are excited to announce that Quantum B has launched the pQKD – Post Quantum Key Distribution solution on AWS Marketplace!

The Post-Quantum Key Distribution (pQKD) solution is a comprehensive managed service offered by Quantum B. This service is centered around a hardware device called pQKD, a cybersecurity product that functions as a QKD system emulator, enabling accelerated adoption of quantum cryptography at a reasonable cost.  The device includes a genuine quantum random number generator (QRNG), which is essential for any secure quantum key distribution. For the emulation of quantum channels, it utilizes the latest post-quantum algorithms approved by NIST for key distribution (FIPS-203) over secure out-of-band network connections.  

Key Features:

ü  Standard Post-Quantum Algorithms: Implements the Key Exchange Mechanism (KEM) using the NIST-standardized algorithm (FIPS-203).

ü  Genuine Quantum Entropy Source: Features a built-in Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG), essential for secure quantum key distribution.

ü  Cost-Effective Solution: When combined with network encryptors, the devices enable extensive testing of data-in-transit protection at a low cost. We currently offer pre-production devices suitable for Proof-of-Concept projects, with fully certified devices available soon. These devices also support the initialization of “QKD at the cloud edge” services.
